MCCC Fitness

Monroe County Community College recognizes the relationship of wellness and fitness to social, personal and academic success.

In support of today's emphasis on health, wellness and exercise, our on-campus Fitness Center is open and free of charge to all MCCC full and part-time credit students, faculty, staff, and retirees. In addition, any community members can join the Fitness Center by completing the Membership Form and paying the annual $50 fee at the Cashiers Office located on the Warrick Student Services Building.

The Fitness Center is located in the Gerald Welch Health Education Building on the north end of campus.

 

Gaining access to the Fitness Center is easy. Just follow the three steps listed below.

1.  Stop in at the Fitness Center for tutorial and/or demonstration of correct use of equipment.
2.  Sign a liability waiver form.
3.  Bring a photo identification when using the facility.

For those under 18 years old, use the following link to print the Assumption of Risk, Waiver, and Release from Liability form, have a parent or guardian sign, and bring to the Fitness Center on your first visit.

Student Assistants
Student assistants are utilized to staff the Fitness Center and are trained on the proper use of the equipment. Student assistants are not personal trainers and should not be consulted for fitness regimens.
